Poolside at Schönhauser Allee 43A serves specialty coffee from Peru. It is a single origin, meaning one origin, no blend. We chose it in 2012 and have not switched since.
What single origin means
In a single origin, all beans come from one country. The benefit for you is consistency: today’s cappuccino tastes like last month’s cappuccino.
Why Peru
Peru delivers coffees that blend well with milk and feel round as espresso. That is exactly what we wanted in 2012 for a café where many people drink cappuccino and flat white. Since then our café has evolved into Poolside; the coffee stayed.
What you can drink
Espresso, macchiato, americano, cappuccino, flat white, latte and cortado. Plus matcha latte, chai latte and golden latte, cold variations with orange or cream, and seasonal specials like the apple crumble latte. All prices are on the café menu.
